Name: Hoshino Nana

Nicknames: Nana, Nana-chan, Nanacchi, Hoshino-san, Hoshi-chin, Hoshino

                  Kise Ryouta calls her Nana-chan when they were little then turns to Nanacchi when he saw her do ballet and was mesmerized                       and amazed by her. When Ryouta is serious, he calls her Nana.
                  Nana-chan by Satsuki, they were classmates in Teiko Middle school and became best friends.

Calls Ryouta: Ki-kun when they were young (Nana is a shy girl so she used "Ki" in Kise instead of calling him Ryouta because she thinks
                     that it's too much for her as a kid) until they became a couple then she eventually calls him Ryou-kun, she calls him Ryouta                        when she's serious (or mad at him)
Calls Satsuki: Sa-chan ever since they became best friends

Appearance:

Nana has long dark violet hair with straight bangs with bluish violet eye-color. She puts her hair on a bun whenever she practices for ballet or for her recitals. She is often seen wearing her Ouka uniform (as seen on the image) and also her ballet practice outfits. She also wear different casual clothes for her photo shoots. When Nana was little her hair's always on shoulder length and was fixed on pigtails.  


Personality:

very graceful, a bit shy and quiet, friendly, patient, loyal, respectful, kind, honest, polite, mature, responsible, refined, cheerful, optimistic, caring, hardworking

Nana truly is a quiet and shy girl but once you get to know her and became friends with her she opens up fully and could be talkative at times. Ever since, she became best friends with Satsuki they talk about a lot stuffs nonstop. Still she gets embarrassed  easily and ends up hitting the person she's with but the more she gives pressure the more she's attached to that person, in short she hits Ryouta the hardest.

Nana really loves ballet ever since she was 5 years old, and she does her best all the time even during practice. But in cooking, no matter how much she tries her best, it always ended up in a chaos. She really has no skills for cooking, that's why when she tried cooking for Ryouta, he ended up having stomach pains.

She always supports her family and friends in everything and cares for them a lot. That is why she loves helping people in need.



Story:

Nana and Ryouta are neighbors, and the Kise and Hoshino families are friends. So they often meet on gatherings and they even went to kindergarten together and grew up together. She calls Ryouta, Ki-kun while he calls her Nana-chan. They have different group of friends but still communicates with each other. She's been into ballet eversince she was 5 years old, but Ryouta was not aware of it until they reached 10 years old when Ryouta was invited by his mother to watch Nana's ballet recital. Ryouta does not want to because he is not interested but was forced by his mother so he has no choice but to go. It was the first time he watched Nana do ballet and was amazed at how great and graceful she was and ever since then Ryouta calls her Nanacchi.

When they entered Teiko Middle School, Nana became classmates with Satsuki and they became best friends eventually. They talk a lot of stuffs together. Nana is fully aware of Ryouta's talent in sports that he gets to master them easily that is why she want him to try other sports to find what he wants. She believes in him that he will find something that he will find interesting. There are times when he would visit her during her ballet practice during clubs. She does her best on her ballet practice during clubs and even attends extra ballet classes outside school to improve her skills more. 

When Ryouta's sister pushed him to do modeling, she also invited Nana. At first she doesn't want to because she's really shy about it but Ryouta's sister insisted and she couldn't do anything plus her older brother bugs her about it too since his brother was the boyfriend of Ryouta's sister. When they had their first modeling she was really nervous about it, and Ryouta helped her to boost her confidence telling her to imagine it like she was doing ballet which is she is good at. And soon she gained confidence and became a model as well. Eventually, Ryouta became even more popular with the girls that his fans increased but Nana was never bothered about it because she knows him very well despite her starting to fall in love with him. She's well aware that he doesn't want to be tied down and she just let him be free of what he wants. From then on she decides to just watch and support him from the distance they have now.

When Ryouta finally meets Aomine and was amazed by him that helps him decide to try out basketball, he went to Nana and told her excitedly about it. She encourages him to try it out. Ryouta also told her when he finally got in to Teiko's basketball team. She always gets updates from Satsuki regarding Ryouta's standing and how amazing he is but she tells her more about Kuroko (Satsuki's love).

During the time when Ryouta faces Haizaki and he loses to him, when this so called "girlfriend" appeared then dumped Ryouta, Nana was there watching. She saw how terribly hurt Ryouta was because he was defeated and about being dumped (she was never aware if ever he is dating someone at the moment or not, because she never wants to talk about those stuffs with him). After that game, when they are finalyl walking home together, they ended up talking about what happened. Soon, Ryouta tells her that that girl was never his girlfriend. Nana was relief hearing about it but she hid it to herself but soon enough he noticed. Then they made a promise that when he finally gets into the first string of the basketball team then they'll start dating. And so that's how Nana and Ryouta ended up dating after he entered the first string of Teiko's basketball team. And soon she starts calling him, Ryou-kun. 

Despite being in a relationship, only their families and closest friends knew about it. They don't intend to hide them to public but it's just happens that both of them are okay with it as long as they trust each other. Nana was never bothered by Ryouta's swarming fan girls and the same for him, he's not jealous about her fan boys unless they're too clingy then he takes action. But sometimes deep inside, Nana also gets a bit jealous of his fan girlsswarming around him.

Nana makes sure to watch all of Ryouta's practice and actual games unless her schedule was occupied by ballet. After all, Ryouta doesn't want Nana to take her ballet lightly after all, it was a major impact on why Royuta liked her in the first place because of her passion for ballet. During the basketball teams practice and actual games that's when Nana finally get to know and became friends with GoM. She became close with Murasakibara because of their love for sweets especially when he ended up craving for sweet things like cakes and chocolates. Aomine always ended up teasing Nana and Satsuki. She is also close with Kuroko. She's a bit scared of Midorima and Akashi because of their seriousness.

When they got into high school, Nana went to an all-girls school, Ouka, since they have a good background on their program for ballet. While Ryouta decided to attend Kaijo. Despite being far away from each other, they still manage to meet each other. (ex. dates, photo shoots, family gatherings, basketball games and ballet recitals) Still, Nana makes sure to watch all of Ryouta's games.
